The Journey Begins

Hello, I’m Milolo!

Thanks for joining me on my very first ever blog post!

In the past year, I became a mummy to the most amazing little girl who I call Riri. Her actual name, from which Riri is derived, is much longer of course. But Riri had a nice ring to it when I would sing to calm her down and so much more just rhymes with Riri.

Through this time, I have been thinking about sharing some of my best and awesome moments and the not so awesome ones too. From pregnancy to birth and beyond, I have seen so much information, some conflicting, that I constantly thought about writing something, even if only to help one new mummy or mummy-to-be.

It’s been a fantastic year and I am due back to work in a week or so but I have found that there is not much information/support for new mummies returning to work and I decided to take the plunge. As I navigate this new chapter, I will be sharing my experiences and hope you can enjoy the ride with me, Riri and Riri’s dad.
